Shipping and Returns

Here at Modern Bar Cart, our goal is to deliver your order quickly and carefully – making sure you get what you ordered and that it doesn’t break in transit. This is a tough process when dealing with fragile merchandise. Please review the following shipping and returns policies before placing your order:

  • Shipping – Currently, we only ship to customers in the continental United States. Although we someday hope to ship internationally, the complexity of customs and import laws prevent us from doing so at this time.

  • Timing – We strive to ship orders within two (2) business days of receiving the order. This means that if you place your order after 5:00pm Eastern Time on a Friday, it may not ship until the following Tuesday. Please be mindful of this when you place your orders and select your shipping methods.

  • Carriers– We currently ship exclusively with UPS. This is to ensure speed, reliability, and to optimize against breakage. As such, we can only ship to places where UPS fulfills, which means that overseas military bases and diplomatic postings cannot be serviced at this time.

  • Breakage – If an item breaks in transit, please contact us and we will be happy to replace it with proof of breakage (a cell phone picture showing the condition of the item immediately upon receipt will suffice). You can initiate a customer service transaction by reaching out via our Contact Form.

  • Lost or Stolen Items or Deliveries – When an order leaves our warehouse, it is in the custody of the licensed and insured parcel carrier has been assigned to deliver it. As such, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. You may file a claim with the carrier using your tracking number and sales receipt as proof of purchase.
  • Satisfaction Guarantee – If you are dissatisfied with your order in any way, please do contact us and let us know why. We will evaluate your concerns and determine the best response, which may or may not involve a refund, product replacement, or store credit.

  • Holiday Orders – We can generally guarantee shipment of orders by a certain date leading up to the holidays, but we cannot guarantee delivery of the orders by a certain date and/or time. We do our absolute best to get your orders moving quickly and safely, but once they are transferred to a parcel carrier, the delivery timeframe is out of our hands.

  • Exceptions – Modern Bar Cart, LLC reserves the right to make exceptions to these and any other shipping policies and best practices in the event of an unexpected or unwarranted event, including abnormally high shipping fulfillment costs or improper use of discount codes.
